Summary

The cropmark of a rectangular enclosure has been previously identified near Mount Pleasant. This site was recorded in the Isle of Thanet Sites and Monuments Archive as a complex rectangular enclosure with internal features. It is thought that the site may be the remains of narrow ditches or palisade trenches of an unknown date.

TR 312656. An aerial photograph shows a cropmark representing a complex rectangular enclosure with internal features. Markings probably caused by narrow ditches or palisade trenches. (1)

Geophysical survey undertaken in 1992 (2).
