The cropmark remains of the site of Dene Chapel can be seen on aerial photographs: EARTH.GOOGLE.COM MAY-2017 and EARTH.GOOGLE.COM MAY-2007. The site appears as a rectangular negative feature on a NW-SE axis measuring 10.5m x 5.5m, surrounded on three sides by traces of buried walls of a building (7m x 13m) with the traces of buried building material extends north-eastwards wards. This lies within a ditched rectilinar enclosures with traces of sub-divisions and traces of futher ditches and enclousures to the NE-and SW. This complex of enclosures is on a NE-SW axis, on the same aligment as the possible building.. Within this complex are further fragments of ditch of a large incomplete sub-rectangular enclosure which appears to represent a different phase of enclosure. These remains have been mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024.(10-11)
