Summary

The cropmarks of several ring ditches thought to be Bronze Age barrows and rectangular enclosures superimposed upon these. The suggestions of pits at the site may be indicative of plough damage. Neolithic flint tools such as scrapers have been found after ploughing. Cropmarks identified from aerial photographs.

TR 36576895. Rectilinear enclosure with small rectangular feature outside the north east corner. (1)

TR 366689. Cropmarks show several ring ditches presumed to be Bronze Age barrows on the rising down land. Near the path are linear markings suggesting superimposed rectangular enclosures. Neolithic flint tools (scrapers can be found beside the path after ploughing). (2)

Internal pit features visible inside the enclosure on RCHME AP. (3)
