On exhibition in the Royal Museum, (a) Canterbury, Acc. Nos. 7813,4, are two palstaves both 6 inches in length with fork decoration below the stop-ridge, found near St. Lawrence, Thanet. They were donated 4-FEB-1927 by Mrs W.J Mercer, formerly of 4 Prices Avenue, Margate, who could not be traced locally. (1)
