On exibition in Ramsgate Public Lirbary (a) is a C1st RB pot found at approx. TR 38156526 when St. George's Churchyard was cleared in 1948. The name of the finder is not known. (1) TR 381652 (sited to nearest 50m) Romano British finds. Site No.168. (2) TR 381652. In the north west corner of the churchyard a small C1st Romano-British urn was discovered. The urn made in BB2 was c.4 to 6 inches in height, 9 to 10 inches in circumference at its widest point. Either a cremation or an inhumation burial is indicated. (3) additional reference (4-5)
