[TQ 46485475] Palaeolithic Implements found A.D. 1930. (1) Palaeoliths from gravel (2) The published siting falls within sand and gravel pits, parts of which are occasionally worked by a London firm. No one could be contacted at the pits at time of visit. (3-6)

Site recorded by Roe in the 1960s (7) based on published report (6), and is also marked in 1938 OS mapping. The Palaeolithic handaxe recorded by Roe in the 1960s held in British Museum (8) from "Heverswood (Brasted)" probably comes from this Westerham pit.
