(TR 3767 5285 Sited to place name only). A bronze spur, incomplete, with engraved sides was found in the excavation for a main along the northern end of Deal High Street. It was found at the junction of a layer of clean sand. The spur was dated to C14 or C15. Its present location is not stated. (1) additional reference (2)
