(TQ 5862) A quartzite pebble macehead 4 inch in diameter and with an hour-glass perforation was found at Kingsdown, Ash and is now in Maidstone Museum. (1) This is not in Maidstone Museum, but is in the possession of Mr J W Bridge of The Nook, Lucerne Street, Maidstone. It was purchased by his father, many years ago, from a farmer at Kingsdown. (a) No further information. (2) TQ 600645 sic (sited to place name only). One mesolithic pebble macehead found at Kingsdon. Information from J J Wymer. (3)
