Summary

Four early medieval graves were found in 1968, Two of the inhumations contained grave goods, in one a knife, the other 2 copper alloy mounts and 4 knives. These 4 graves are designated 'Barham Downs B'.

The site lies on the brow of a slight spur of a south-west facing slope. OD 95-100. 1km to the south of the 'Barham A' site (TR 25 SW 43).

Four Anglo-Saxon inhumations identified on Barham Downs in 1966. Three barrows, 2 with pennanular ditches were also excavated. These may be am outlier of the cemetery TR25SW14.(1)
