(TR 28155830) Remains of a windmill at Guilton, in Poulton Lane, to the south of route A257. Originally a smock mill, the mill stopped work and was demolished to base-level early in the 19th [20th?] century. Used firstly as a store the base was converted into a house in 1961. (1)

Three mills are shown on the Tithe Map of 1838 (none of which are visible on the OS drawing of 1797 though the area is damaged). Only the southern most is shown on the 1st edition OS map. The building is shown but not labelled as a mill on the 4th edition OS map.
