During 1971 Ashford Archaeological Society uncovered a number of pits and post holes suggesting an activity area. A gulley linking features could indicate a drip-trench around a hut. There is also a rectangular cluster of post holes interperted as a 6-post structure and renewed at least once. (2) Hogarth reports that this is a four posted structure that was reconstructed twice.
