(TQ 49965600) A small, almost complete, homestead moat at Moat Farm, Chipstead, Chevening, about a mile north-east of Sundridge. (1) There are no surveyable remains of this moat. The course of the W and S arms is represented by a strong dip in the ground along the line of the garden fence W of the Farmhouse and by a drop in ground level beyond the same fence on the S. side. The house is probably of 18th c. date, and is of little architectural interest. (2) TQ 498559. Chevening, Chipstead. Moat Farm is listed in the County checklist of moated sites in Kent - December 1979 (3) (TQ 49965600) Moat House (NAT) (4)
