Early Iron Age burial found at Eversley, Coolinge, in 1922. (1) No further information was gained on this burial at the Folkestone or Hythe Museums, or at Eversley Girls School; Mr. Knight who had been groundsman hereabouts for some 45 years had never heard of it. (2) TR 207362. Eversley, Folkestone. Classified by Whimster as number 122 in his catalogue of La Tene III cremation burials. "Unconfirmed Ordnance Survey report by O G S Crawford of `Early Iron Age burial found 1922'." It is difficult to determine with any certainty the exact extent of the cemetery. (3)
