Fragments of two large Samian vessels and smaller vessels, together with black ware were found while digging a narrow trench at the foot of Caesar's Camp, Folkestone (1,2).

Exhibited at a meeting of the Society of Antiquaries of London in 1851 (2).

No further information on this find, which sounds like a burial group, was gained at Folkestone Museum. (3, 4)
