On exhibition in Herne Bay Public Library are a pedestal urn with burnt bones found in 1925 at Whatmer Hall, and a small Belgic burial urn of a reddish ware found in August, 1930, at the same place. No information was gained on the circumstances of finding but they possibly came from a long disused gravel pit situated about 80.0m to the west of Whatmer Hall at TR 18166080. (1,4)
