Evaluation undertaken by CAT in 2003 prior to construction of an extention to St Michael and All Angels Church, Kingsnorth.
The location of the medieval chantry chapel was located. The chapel was demolished c.1763; its location being confirmed through the presence of robber trenches. No direct dateable evidence was found, though fragments of medieval painted glass show the chapel would have had painted glass window(s), similar to the surviving north window in the present church.
