[TR 14455750] Bastion [NR] (Remains of) [NAT]. (1) Site of square wall tower, previously incorporated into house (2), but now destroyed. (3) Tower 23. Square. One of the medieval towers between West Gate [TR 15 NW 155] and Worth Gate [TR 15 NW 187] lies south of the churchyard of St Mildred's [TR 15 NW 7]. (4)
