(TR 14735798) Friars of the Sack found pre 1274. Friary (site of). (1-2) The Friars of the Sack, Canterbury, founded pre 1274, dissolved pre 1314. Some of the friars may have moved to Cambridge by 1289, when there were apparently only three friars at Canterbury, with the same number in 1297. (3)
