[TR 19855874] Belgic pot containing cremated human remains found at depth of 18 ins. in gravel, 1951. (1) An early 1st c. AD Belgic jar containing a cremation burial, was foundin 1951 by Mr. Wood, labourer, of 49 Whitstable Road, while planting fruit trees. The approximate findspot, at TR 19855874, was pointed out to Mr. Jenkins by Mr. Wood. Donated to the Royal Museum, Canterbury, Acc. No. RM 8400. (2) Additional bibliography. (3)
