Grubenhaus and associated features found during excavation north-west of at Biggins Wood during the construction of the Channel Tunnel. The hut was associated with a trackway, rubbish pits and post-holes for fences or animal pens. Pottery, animal bone and sea shell was found together with a single piece of jewellery.(1)
