[TR 16174088] St. Eadburg's Well [NR] (Site of) [NAT] (1) This spring is the principal source of the Little Stour River. There is record of a bequest in 1484 for preservation by John Gardyn. In the C19th a well house was built over the spring and in 1898 the present canopy and now disused chain pump were erected. (2) As described. The well house stands 10.0 metres NW of Authority 1's siting. (3)
