"At Ottinge Farm [Elham] is an old Roman burial place." (1)
Mr Dykes, owner of Ottinge Farm, believes Igglesden was referring to the barrow at Rhodes Minnis (TR 14 SE 3), which stands on land formerly a part of Ottinge Farm. (2)
