Google earth images show a system of enclosures on Turks Hill in Higham on either side of a trackway that runs north-south before turning to the west at the southern end of the area. Large regular pits are visible within the enclosures, possibly representing postholes for substantial buildings.

Google earth images show a system of enclosures on Turks Hill in Higham on either side of a trackway that runs north-south before turning to the west at the southern end of the area. Large regular pits are visible within the enclosures, possibly representing postholes for substantial buildings.

The cropmarks were defined by the English Heritage Hoo Peninsula Landscape project (2009-2012) (1)
