A group of lynchets discovered in Joyden's Wood by the Cambridgeshire County Council Archaeology Field Unit. Part of the feature runs parallel to the wood path, broadly northwest-southeast. The main bank is clearly visible (potentially over 200m long) whether it can be described as part of a field system is open to interpretation. RCHMe dispute that the banks are more likely to be woodland banks. There are four linear banks. (approx. 100m+) radiating to the east (north, northeast x 2, and east), however only the most southerly is visible, although the area is heavily overgrown. (1)
