[TR 17773507] Romano-British Pottery found AD 1935 [T.I.] (1) TR 17763508 Belgic potsherds dated 50 BC to 50 AD and a Roman tile found in April 1935. Occupatiuon layer found during excavation of site for New House in April 1935. The nearest houses to the given siting are Cottage in the Dell, built 1925, and Calverton built in the 1950's. The owner of the former property had no knowledge of this find though resident here in 1935. Further local enquiries were unproductive (b,c). (4)
