(TR 1029). Dymchurch Sluice Battery. 1798 with one eighteen pounder. (1)
The exact location of the sluice battery referred to above was not determined on aerial photographs viewed as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP. The nearest sluice is visible at TR 1006 1291 adjacent to Martello Tower No.25 (Monument Number 463767). (2)
