Second World War First Aid Post set up in late 1939 in the Meadow Rooms, a brick structure with a pitched roof, on the north side of The Street, Cobham. This was for the treatment of casualties from air bombing. It was an adaptation of an existing building, with some basic care facilities provided and pre-positioned medical supplies. The exact part of the building used is not known. It would have been decommissioned by the end of the Second World War in Europe in 1945. The building survives in use as a parish office.
