Deserted Medieval villiages 1971 (Authority 1), List 69 places for Kent in their county gazetteers of DMVs. In most cases there is nothing to prove that there ever was a village at the site in question. A deserted church site or an isolated church does not prove the existence of a deserted village. (2)
