A denehole, 40.50ft deep with oval entrance about 30ft in circumference, is in the grounds of the Highbury Tea Gardens, Challock, on the main Maidstone - Margate road. There are three chambers at the bottom. (1) TR 00385045. A very fine and well-preserved denehole. A greenhouse has been erected over it, and it is used for storage. (2)
