An Iron Age `C' Cooking Pot, in the possession of Sir Edmund Davis, `was dug up some years ago in the parish of Chilham'. (1) Sir Edmund Davis left Chilham Castle many years ago and is believed dead. The present whereabouts of the pot is not known. (2)
