An iron age copper alloy snaffle bit was found south of Wheatgratten Farm. The bit probably dates from the 1st century BC. A square-headed iron nail, either Roman or Medieval in date was also found. (1) 6 sherds
of shelley ware, early medieval pottery, were also found.
