On E side of A256 half a mile N of junction with minor road to Ebbsfleet.Standard type 24 pillbox.

This structure was mapped from military aerial photographs as part of the SE Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey. It was first visible on aerial photographs taken in February 1941 and is still visible on OS Mastermap [2]. The visible pillbox is an irregular hexagon in plan and measures 4.6m by 4m.
