[TQ 5842 5447] Roman cremation burial-jar with charred human bones and smaller vessel found 18 inches deep behind stables at Ivy Hatch Court. (1) The present occupier/owner of "The Stables", a private residence, knows nothing of this find, which was probably made at the time of the construction of the stable block. (Ivy Hatch Court was built about 1880.) The present whereabouts of the pottery has not been ascertained. (2)
