(Marginal) Palaeolithic implements, probably late St. Acheul, have been found at Bitchet East, Sevenoaks. (1) No further information; the implements are recorded as being in Maidstone Museum, (a) but they could not be traced there. (2) TQ 568542 (sited to place name only). One tranchet axe found at ? Bitchet Green "Bitchit East, (field)" is in the Maidstone Museum, ex E. Harrison. Information from R.M. Jacobi. (3)

2015 Volunteer Project suggested that TQ 55 SE 4 corresponds to NWK-6, No. 63 from the Southern Rivers Palaeolithic Project.
