A bank [of earth?] at Dymchurch is known as the "Money Bank" because of the number of Roman coins found in it. It was "within a short distance" of the Roman finds made in building the sea wall at Dymchurch [TR 02 NE 1]. (1)
This area was surveyed as part of the South East RCZAS NMP project. The bank mentioned previously in this record was not visible on historic aerial photographs (2).
