[TQ 9982 6115] A fragmented, unpolished Neolithic axe found at Ospringe. (1)

The above siting falls within an arable field. Neither the farmer, Mr Coombs, Queen Court Farm, Ospringe, nor his farm workers knew anything of the find. Enquiries at Maison Dieu Museum, Ospringe, were negative (2).
