[Area TQ 928 573] In Dully Wood, Doddington, there is a 'dangerous denehole and several shallow circular depressions'. (1) At TQ 9276 5732 there is a denehole which has been filled with rubbish. Surveyed at 1/2500. The "shallow circular depressions" were not fount, but the southern end of Dolley Wood covered with old flint-quarrying pits, probably of 18th/19thc. date. (2)
