Description from record TQ 95 NW 12 :
[TQ 9445 5655 - sited from H.H.R. map] Foxenden Farmhouse, Grade II*. On the map and on the Kent County Planning Officer's List called Seed Farmhouse. Dated 1604 and once a larger building. (For full description see list.) (1) [TQ 9445 5655] Foxenden Manor [NAT] (2) Foxenden, Seed. A large half-timbered house, greatly restored. Three twice-overhanging gables, the centre the most heavily timbered, and bearing a date 1604, that must be treated with suspicion. The right gable collapses with age convincingly, the left may be a copy. (3)

House. C16, 1604 and 1948. Timber framed and exposed with plaster infill, on flint base, with plain tiled roof. C20 extension to left of rendered brick with applied timbers. End right framed bays 2 storeys and jettied, with ogee braced frame, and returned hipped roof. Central gable of 2 storeys and attic, jettied at first floor and to gable, with carved gable bresummer, bargeboard and pendant, and dated 1604 in framed surround in gable. Stacks to centre left and at end right. Irregular fenestration of 1 wooden casement to left and right on each floor, and brick and wooden mullioned bay window below gable of 5 lights, alternating with and without transoms. Boarded door in right side of C20 hipped porch to centre right. Interior: internal frame complete. (See BOE KENT II 1983 404). Listing NGR: TQ9445156554 (4)
