Description from record TQ 85 NE 10:
[TQ 8921 5970] Bexon Farmhouse [NAT] (1) Bexon Court (formerly listed as Bexon Farmhouse), Wealden hall style house. Circa 1500. Grade II*. (2) Bexon Farmhouse is a standard Wealdon house, much restored. Open hall, divided horizonatally, required by the middle part of the overhang to be adapted. (3) Bexon Court. An impressive and well preserved timber framed house. (4)

II*
Wealden hall house. Circa 1500. Timber framed and exposed close- studding and plaster infill with plain tiled roof. Four framed bays. Two storeys with continuous jetty on dragon posts, the central 2 bays later flooring-in of originally recessed open hall. Hipped roof with large C16 red brick stack free-standing at left. Irregular fenestration of 4 wood mullioned windows with side lights to each floor with half-glazed plank and stud door to centre right. (See B.O.E. Kent II. 1983, 158).
