[TQ 9513 3644] Hengherst, Woodchurch. A modern house with a moat on three sides of the garden. (1) A square homestead moat still survives. The northern half is brick revetted and water filled; the southern half is reduced to a turf covered shallow depression. Published 25" Survey revised.
