Centred at TQ 9582 2406 (shown but not described on OS 6 inch 1961) isan 80 m square earthwork, comprising a stony bank with remains of a weak outer ditch. In its W corner is a small raised (?building) platform. The age and purpose of the work are not evident, but the field name, Great Mill Bank (a), suggests a rather elaborate windmill steading.
