A Thames pick, found in a field near Botany Bay Bridge, Bradbourne Vale Road (area centred TQ 525 564) was presented in 1936 to Sevenoaks Public Library and Museum by P. Martin of Chipstead, who cannot now be traced. (1) TQ 519564 (sited to place name only). One mesolithic pick from near Botany Bay Bridge, Bradbourne Vale Road, was probably found in or near (River) Darent. It is now in Dartford Museum. Information from J.N. Carreck. (2)
