R.B. rubbish pits containing potsherds, oyster shells and bones were excavated in 1963 by I. Jackson. A wooden spade was found in this pit and are visible as water-filled pits with a scatter of potsherds round the edges (1). Additional index entries and references from relevant field reports (2-6). Also evidence for 2 hearths and 3 brine pits plus light structures, including circular ditch features (7).
