[TQ 85037130] Roman kiln found by Peter Gray in 1930. (1) Not investigated - situated in an area of inaccessible mud flats. (2) There was plenty of evidence for a kiln here, briquettage, potsherds and c. but no structures were seen and by 1950 the site had been washed away.(a) (3) Additional reference (4).
