The following text is from the original listed building designation:
HIGH STREET 1, 1614 (West Side) No 27 TQ 5354/1/36 13.4.51 II GV 2. With Nos 25 and 29. Early C19 terrace. 2 storeys. Stucco. Eaves and gutter. Continuous ridge roof. 2-window facade. Ground floor with recessed doorway to right with stucco pilasters on either side supporting moulded entablature. 2 sash windows to left with moulded stucco surrounds. First floor with 2 similar sash windows. Ridge tile roof with one small flat-roofed leaded dormer.

In 1994 a survey on cellars in the Sevenoaks area was undertaken. 27 High Street was found to have the entire floor area taken by the cellar. (2)
