TQ 82436320. On the summit of a ridge on the S.E. side of Yaugher Wood there is a collection of deneholes. `A' at TQ 82316331 and `B' at TQ 82546340 are open, although the former has had a certain amount of rubbish thrown into it. Brigadier Orr of Queendown Warren, nearby, informed me that `B' has chambers leading out of the main chamber in typical denehole fashion. `C' TQ 82616325 is collapsed but the depression is large and deep and preserved by a clump of trees planted within it. Over the remainder of the area at least four collapsed but nearly ploughed out deneholes can be recognised and the clumps of trees at the S.W. end of the area almost certainly mark filled-in deneholes.
