1. 5280 SEAL UNDERRIVER
High House TQ 55 SE 47/1099

2. Late mediaeval hall house with left end greatly altered in C18th and later. Garden front of 2 storeys, 3 windows, very irregular. High pitched tiled roof with left hips at different levels, half hip at right. Tile hung 1st floor. C19 red brick ground floor with diaper of blue headers. C19 casements, including a half-dormer breaking eaves. Modern lean-to porch at left, and modern back right extension. Roof sweeps low along remainder of back; and long C19th extension added. On left return large galletted rubble ground floor. Inside exposed timber including C16th ceiling, but lower part of C16th chimney half removed.
