The following text is from the original listed building designation:
HORTON KIRBY HORTON ROAD 1. 5280 (west side) Dovecot to east of TQ 56 NE 3/193 Court Lodge II GV 2. C18 ornamental dovecot of cylindrical shape faced with flints, with buff brick dressings, quoins and modillion cornice. Nearly conical tiled roof, at the apex of which is a small square wooden superstructure, which is the birds' entrance, surmounted by a hipped tiled roof. Round-headed entrance with circular tablet over.
