The following text is from the original listed building designation:
HIGH STREET 1. 1614 (West Side) Nos 31 to 37 (odd) TO 5354/1/37 13.4.51 31 to 37 (odd) II GV 2. C16 framed structure but with early Cl9 elevation. 2 storeys. Stucco. Large gable to right and left with 2 smaller gables in centre. Gables with C19 ornamental barge-boards. Ridge tile roof. First floor over- sailing. Ground floor with shop fronts. No 35 with plain boarded door and sash window to right with panelled shutters. 4 widely spaced Cl9 sash windows on first floor with moulded ornamental square stucco drip stones over. First floor divided into 4 panels by vertical ornamental projecting boarding. Triangular recessed panel in gables to right and left. Eaves and gutter between gables. Tall centre ridge stack and other smaller stacks to right and left. Ridge tile roof brought down as pentice roof to rear with 3 tiers of small, tiled dormers. Side elevation with painted weather-boarded gable end on first floor. No 37 stands at the corner of Six Bells Lane with corner shop front.
Nos 19 to 37 (odd) form a group.

In 1994 a survey was undertaken for cellars in the Sevenoaks area. It is thought number 31-37 high street were originally one building and thus the cellar is probably at the front of the building. Though they were no surveyed because number 37 was unoccupied. (2)
