TQ 8232 5355 ? Ro. site. 1961. V. Newbury. (1) TQ 8242 5391. Mr. V.J. Newbury, The Old Forge, Upper Hollingbourne, stated that he has unearthed Ro. potsherds (undated) on this site, and part of the foundations of a building of Kentish ragstone. Excavation is continuing and results will be reported in Arch. Cantiana. (2) Mr. Newbury recently found a (? Ro) coin, which has been forwarded to Mr. Shepperd Frere for identification. He has nothing further to report about the excavation. (3) additional bibliography (4-7)
